About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Richmond, Virginia. You will work on-site to gain hands-on experience in medical equipment sales and branch operations. This role involves a 40% travel requirement to support customer accounts and field operations.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to understand all aspects of the branch.
- Develop a project segment focused on creating a target account list or a marketing strategy.
- Learn selling skills, sales processes, and instrument use techniques through coaching and mentorship.
- Assist the warehouse team with assembling and breaking down instrument kits.
- Shadow and support Team Member Drivers with the delivery of kits to and from customer accounts.
- Help Sales and Field Operations teams with special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
