About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship provides hands-on experience within the Upper Extremities Sales division. You will work directly with sales and operations teams to understand the medical equipment manufacturing process and the daily realities of field-based sales. This is a full-time, paid position based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to gain insight into all aspects of the branch.
- Learn selling skills, processes, and instrument use techniques through coaching and mentorship.
- Prepare a project segment focused on developing a target account list or a marketing strategy.
- Assist warehouse team members with assembling and breaking down instrument kits.
- Support team member drivers with the delivery of kits to and from accounts.
- Assist sales and field operations teams with special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Intent to remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
