About the role#
This internship provides an immersive introduction to the medical technology industry. You will work within the Upper Extremities Sales division to gain a practical understanding of how sales and field operations function in a professional environment. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to observe daily branch activities.
- Develop a project segment focused on creating a target account list or a marketing strategy.
- Learn core selling skills, sales processes, and the technical use of medical instruments through mentorship.
- Assist the warehouse team with the assembly and breakdown of instrument kits.
- Support the delivery of kits to and from accounts alongside team members.
- Coordinate with various departments regarding product information and assist with special projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Intent to remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program following the summer term.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
