About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship provides hands-on experience within the medical equipment manufacturing industry. You will work directly with our Upper Extremities Sales team to learn the nuances of sales processes, product application, and branch operations. This is a full-time, paid position based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to gain insight into all aspects of the branch.
- Learn selling skills, processes, and instrument use techniques through coaching and mentoring.
- Prepare a project segment that develops a target account list or a marketing potential strategy.
- Shadow and assist Team Member Drivers with the delivery of instrument kits to and from accounts.
- Assist the warehouse team in assembling and breaking down instrument kits and preparing products for surgery.
- Support Sales and Field Operations teams with special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently working on a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or Kinesiology.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
