About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the medical technology field. You will work closely with sales and operations teams to understand the branch functions and support the delivery of medical products. This is a full-time, paid summer 2027 position based in Lenexa, Kansas.
What you'll do#
- Shadow sales associates, representatives, and operations team members to learn about branch operations.
- Develop a project segment focused on target account lists or marketing strategy.
- Learn selling skills, processes, and instrument use techniques through coaching and mentorship.
- Assist team member drivers with the delivery of instrument kits to and from customer accounts.
- Help warehouse staff assemble and break down instrument kits and prepare products for surgery.
- Support sales and field operations teams with assigned special projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, or Communications.
- Must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer term.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident status.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.

- This role requires approximately 40% travel.
