About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the medical equipment manufacturing industry through direct experience with our sales and operations teams. You will work in a field-based capacity during the Summer 2027 term to gain a comprehensive understanding of our branch operations and sales processes.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to learn about branch functions.
- Develop a project segment focused on creating a target account list or a marketing strategy.
- Build selling skills and learn instrument use techniques through coaching and mentorship.
- Assist Team Member Drivers with the delivery of instrument kits to and from customer accounts.
- Work in the warehouse to assemble and break down instrument kits and prepare products for surgery.
- Support Sales and Field Operations teams on various special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Biomedical Engineering, or Communications.
- Intent to remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program following the summer term.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA or above is preferred.
