About the role#
Stryker is hiring an Ortho Sales Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Carmel, Indiana. You will work on-site and participate in field-based activities, which may include up to 40% travel to support customer facilities.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Representatives, Sales Associates, and Operations Team Members to learn about branch operations.
- Develop a project segment focused on creating a target account list or a marketing strategy.
- Receive coaching on selling skills, sales processes, and the use of medical instruments.
- Assist Team Member Drivers with the delivery of instrument kits to and from accounts.
- Work in the warehouse to assemble and break down instrument kits and prepare products for surgery.
- Collaborate with various teams on product-related tasks and support special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
- Must plan to remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
