About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in medical technology sales and operations. You will work directly with our Joint Replacement sales teams to learn the processes, skills, and techniques required to support our customers and improve patient outcomes. This is a full-time, paid position based in Houston, Texas, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to understand branch operations.
- Develop a project segment focused on creating a target account list or a marketing strategy.
- Learn sales processes and instrument use techniques through coaching and mentoring from the sales team.
- Assist with the delivery of surgical kits to and from customer accounts.
- Work in the warehouse to assemble and break down instrument kits while preparing products for surgery.
- Support the Sales and Field Operations teams with assigned special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biology, or Kinesiology.
- A plan to remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program following the summer term.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA or above is preferred.
