About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in medical equipment sales and branch operations. You will work directly with our Foot & Ankle team in Tampa to learn the core aspects of our sales processes and field operations. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations team members to understand branch functions.
- Learn selling skills, processes, and instrument use techniques through coaching and mentorship.
- Develop a project segment that focuses on target account lists or marketing strategies.
- Assist with the delivery of instrument kits to and from customer accounts.
- Work in the warehouse to assemble and break down instrument kits for surgical use.
- Support sales and field operations teams with assigned special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Biomedical Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
- Intent to remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program following the summer term.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and business acumen.
- Status as a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
