About the role#
StrideCare is seeking a Procurement Intern to support the Clinical Supply Procurement team. This contract role provides hands-on experience in supply chain, procurement, and healthcare operations. You will assist in maintaining procurement data, supporting contract lifecycle activities, and ensuring the efficient processing of supply chain requests.
What you'll do#
- Process and maintain procurement-related data.
- Support contract lifecycle management activities.
- Perform basic maintenance and updates within the procurement system.
- Assist internal operations teams with procurement requests and issue resolution.
- Communicate with vendors regarding account updates and routine procurement activities.
- Support internal supply chain service requests to ensure timely completion.
What you'll need#
- Coursework or experience in Supply Chain, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate strong time management.
- Prior internship or administrative experience is considered a plus.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity for office equipment.
