About the role#
As a Sales Representative intern, you will act as a consultative guide for students needing moving, storage, and shipping services. You will serve as a primary link between customers and our service offerings, helping them navigate our online portal and understand their options. This is a part-time, seasonal role that requires flexibility, especially during our peak season from March through September.
What you'll do#
- Field inbound leads from website forms and phone calls.
- Reach out to existing and former customers to encourage service usage.
- Provide accurate service estimates via phone, text, and email.
- Assist customers through the order process in our online portal.
- Suggest service upgrades and additional options to customers.
- Generate new customer referrals.
What you'll need#
- Exceptional communication skills and a natural aptitude for sales.
- Strong critical thinking abilities to solve problems.
- A high level of emotional intelligence for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage intense workloads and adapt to changes quickly.
- Strong phone presence and comfort with frequent verbal communication.
- Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to learn new software tools quickly.
- Preferred: 1 to 2 years of experience in customer-facing roles like retail or hospitality.
- Relevant academic background in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.

This role is fully remote. You must reside in one of the following states to be eligible: Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. This position is paid and available for the Winter and Summer 2027 terms.
