About the role#
As an Inside Sales Representative, you act as a consultative guide for students and families using our moving, storage, and shipping services. You will join the Customer Experience Team to help customers understand and adopt our services. This is a part-time internship that offers the opportunity to grow alongside our team.
What you'll do#
- Field inbound leads from lead form submissions and incoming calls.
- Make proactive phone calls to existing and former customers to promote service usage.
- Provide service estimates for customers via call, SMS, and email.
- Guide customers through the order flow in our online portal.
- Promote additional services and upgrades while generating referrals.
What you'll need#
- Exceptional communication skills and a strong sales aptitude.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Ability to handle intense workloads and changes.
- A strong phone presence.
- High emotional intelligence to work with team members and clients.
- Comfort with technology and the ability to learn new software rapidly.
- 1 to 2 years of customer-facing experience is preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote.
- Available for Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 terms.
- This is a paid position.
- The role requires 15 to 25 hours per week on average, with the potential for up to 40 hours per week between March and May. You must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends during the peak season from March through September.
