About the role#
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will act as a consultative guide for students and families using our moving, storage, and shipping services. You will join our Customer Experience Team to help customers understand and adopt our service offerings. This is a part-time, seasonal internship that is fully remote.
What you'll do#
- Field inbound leads from website form submissions and incoming calls.
- Call existing and former customers to encourage continued service usage.
- Provide accurate service estimates through phone, SMS, and email.
- Help customers navigate our online portal to book their moves.
- Promote service upgrades and additional offerings to customers.
- Generate new referrals for the company.
What you'll need#
- Exceptional communication skills and a strong sales aptitude.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems.
- Strong phone presence and high emotional intelligence.
- Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Capacity to handle shifting priorities and intense workloads.
- Preferred: 1 to 2 years of customer-facing experience in fields like retail or hospitality.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote within the United States.
- The position is part-time, averaging 15 to 25 hours per week, with the potential for up to 40 hours during the peak season of March through May.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the peak season (March to September) is required.
- This is a paid internship with a compensation structure that includes base pay plus commission.
- Term: Winter 2027 through Summer 2027.
