About the role#
As an Inside Sales Representative, you act as a consultative guide for students and families using our moving, storage, and shipping services. You will join the Customer Experience Team to help customers understand our offerings and complete their bookings. This is a part-time, seasonal internship.
What you'll do#
- Respond to inbound leads from web forms and phone calls.
- Call existing and former customers to promote our services.
- Create service estimates using phone, SMS, and email.
- Help customers navigate our online portal to book their moves.
- Suggest additional services and upgrades while generating referrals.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication skills and a natural aptitude for sales.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems.
- Experience handling high workloads and shifting priorities.
- A professional phone presence.
- High emotional intelligence to connect with clients and team members.
- Tech-savviness and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- 1 to 2 years of customer-facing experience, such as retail or hospitality, is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote.
- The internship runs from Spring 2027 through Summer 2027.
- You will work 15 to 25 hours per week on average, with the potential for up to 40 hours per week between March and May.
- Availability for flexible evening and weekend shifts is required during the peak season from March through September.
- Compensation includes base pay plus commission, with estimated seasonal earnings between $4,500 and $10,000.
