About the role#
As an Inside Sales Representative, you act as a consultative guide for students needing help with move-in, move-out, storage, and shipping services. You work as part of the Customer Experience Team to help users understand and adopt our services.
What you'll do#
- Field inbound leads from website forms and phone calls.
- Call existing and former customers to promote service usage.
- Provide service estimates through phone, SMS, and email.
- Guide customers through the order flow in our online portal.
- Promote service upgrades and generate referrals.
What you'll need#
- Exceptional communication skills and a strong sales aptitude.
- Strong critical thinking and emotional intelligence.
- A strong phone presence.
- Ability to handle shifting priorities and heavy workloads.
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- 1 to 2 years of customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
- Open to students in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
Location & details#
- This is a fully remote position.
- The role is part-time, averaging 15 to 25 hours per week, with potential for up to 40 hours per week from March through May.
- You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends during the peak season from March to September.
- The internship terms include Winter 2027, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027.
- This is a paid position with base pay plus commission, with estimated seasonal earnings between $4,500 and $10,000.
