About the role#
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will act as a consultative guide for students needing move-in, move-out, storage, and shipping services. You will join the Customer Experience Team to help users understand and adopt our services. This is a part-time, remote internship available for Winter and Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Manage inbound leads from website forms and phone calls.
- Call existing and former customers to encourage service usage.
- Provide accurate service estimates through phone, SMS, and email.
- Assist customers as they navigate our online portal to book their orders.
- Recommend service upgrades and additional options to customers.
- Identify opportunities to generate referrals.
What you'll need#
- Exceptional communication skills and a strong sales aptitude.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems.
- Strong phone presence and high emotional intelligence.
- Comfort with technology and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Capacity to manage intense workloads and adapt to changes.
- 1 to 2 years of customer-facing experience in fields like retail or hospitality is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote.
- You can expect to work 15 to 25 hours per week on average, with the potential for up to 40 hours during the peak season from March to May.
- The schedule requires flexibility, including some evenings and weekends during the peak months of March through September.
- This is a paid position offering base pay plus commission.
