About the role#
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will act as a consultative guide for customers using our student moving, storage, and shipping services. You will join the Customer Experience Team to help students understand and adopt our service offerings. This is a part-time, seasonal internship.
What you'll do#
- Respond to inbound leads from website forms and phone calls.
- Call existing and former customers to encourage service usage.
- Provide service estimates using phone, SMS, and email.
- Assist customers with the online booking process for their moves.
- Recommend additional services and upgrades while generating new referrals.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication skills and a natural aptitude for sales.
- Ability to think critically and handle shifting priorities.
- A confident phone presence.
- High emotional intelligence to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Comfort with technology and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- 1 to 2 years of customer-facing experience in fields like retail or hospitality is preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote.
- The internship runs from Winter 2027 through Summer 2027.
- You will work 15 to 25 hours per week on average, with the potential for up to 40 hours per week between March and May.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends, is required during the peak season from March through September.
- This is a paid position with base pay plus commission.
