About the role#
As an Inside Sales Representative, you act as a guide for students and families looking for moving, storage, and shipping solutions. You will join our Customer Experience Team to help customers understand and adopt our services. This is a part-time, remote internship with a seasonal structure.
What you'll do#
- Field inbound leads from web forms and phone calls.
- Call existing and former customers to encourage service use.
- Provide service estimates through phone, SMS, and email.
- Help customers navigate the online portal to finalize their orders.
- Promote service upgrades and generate new referrals.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication skills and a natural aptitude for sales.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems.
- A clear, professional phone presence.
- High emotional intelligence to work well with clients and teammates.
- Technical comfort with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Capacity to handle shifting priorities and high workloads.
- 1 to 2 years of customer-facing experience is preferred.
- Majors in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications are preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is fully remote.
- The role is part-time, typically 15 to 25 hours per week, with potential for up to 40 hours per week between March and May.
- You must be available for a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends during the peak season from March through September.
- The internship terms are Winter, Spring, and Summer 2027.
- This is a paid position offering base pay plus commission.
