About the role#
As an Inbound Sales Specialist, you act as a consultative guide for customers using our student move-in, move-out, storage, and shipping services. You will join the Customer Experience Team to help students understand and adopt our service offerings. This is a part-time, remote internship available for Winter and Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Manage inbound leads from lead forms and phone calls.
- Reach out to existing and former customers to promote service usage.
- Provide service estimates through phone calls, SMS, and email.
- Assist customers with the order process in our online portal.
- Suggest additional services and upgrades while generating referrals.
What you'll need#
- Strong sales aptitude and exceptional communication skills.
- High emotional intelligence and strong critical thinking.
- A professional phone presence.
- Ability to learn new software quickly and comfort with technology.
- Capacity to handle changing priorities and heavy workloads.
- 1 to 2 years of customer-facing experience in fields like retail or hospitality is preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote.
- The position is part-time, typically requiring 15 to 25 hours per week, with the potential for up to 40 hours per week between March and May.
- You must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends, during the peak season from March through September.
- Compensation includes base pay plus commission, with estimated seasonal earnings between $4,500 and $10,000.
