About the role#
As an Inbound Sales Specialist, you will act as a consultative guide for students using our moving, storage, and shipping services. You will serve as a primary contact within the Customer Experience team, helping users understand and adopt our service offerings. This is a part-time, remote internship opportunity available for the Winter and Summer 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Field inbound leads from phone calls and online form submissions.
- Reach out to existing and former customers to encourage continued service usage.
- Create and provide service estimates through phone, SMS, and email.
- Help customers navigate our online portal to complete their orders.
- Promote service upgrades and additional offerings to customers.
- Generate new referrals for the company.
What you'll need#
- Strong sales aptitude and exceptional communication skills.
- A clear, professional phone presence.
- High emotional intelligence to connect with clients and team members.
- Critical thinking skills to solve problems.
- Technical comfort with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to manage intense workloads and frequent changes.
- 1 to 2 years of customer-facing experience in fields like retail or hospitality is preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote.
- Compensation includes base pay plus commission, with estimated seasonal earnings between $4,500 and $10,000.
- This is a part-time position requiring 15 to 25 hours per week on average, with the possibility of up to 40 hours during peak season.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the peak season from March through September is required.
