About the role#
As an Inbound Sales Specialist, you act as a guide for customers looking for student move-in, move-out, storage, and shipping solutions. You will be a key member of the Customer Experience Team, helping customers understand and adopt our services.
What you'll do#
- Field inbound leads from lead form submissions and incoming calls.
- Call existing and former customers to promote service usage.
- Provide service estimates using calls, SMS, and email.
- Help customers navigate our online portal to book their moves.
- Promote service upgrades and additional offerings while generating referrals.
What you'll need#
- Strong sales aptitude and exceptional communication skills.
- High emotional intelligence to work with team members and clients.
- Ability to handle intense workloads and frequent changes.
- Strong phone presence and critical thinking skills.
- Tech-savvy approach with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- 1-2 years of customer-facing experience in fields like retail, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, part-time internship.
- The role is open to students in majors such as Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, and others.
- Compensation includes base pay plus per-customer commission, with estimated seasonal earnings between $4,500 and $10,000.
- You will work 15-25 hours per week on average, with the possibility of up to 40 hours per week between March and May.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required during the peak season from March through September.
- The internship runs from Winter 2027 through Summer 2027.
