About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in retail sales, marketing, and leadership. You will work as a fully trained member of the sales team, interacting directly with customers while learning how different parts of the business operate. The role offers exposure to departments such as merchandising, e-commerce, human resources, and accounting. It is designed for students pursuing degrees in Business Administration or Marketing who want to develop professional skills in communication, negotiation, and team leadership.
What you'll do#
- Ask probing questions to identify and understand customer needs.
- Guide customers through the store to find suitable products.
- Explain the differences between various product options.
- Manage the sales process by arranging payment and delivery.
- Complete all required sales paperwork accurately.
- Follow up with customers through phone calls or thank you notes.
- Apply effective sales techniques while adhering to company procedures.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction in every interaction.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Business Administration or Marketing program.
- Comfort using and learning new computer systems.
- Availability to work standard retail hours, including nights and weekends.
