About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in retail sales, marketing, and leadership. You will join the sales team to work directly with customers while gaining exposure to various business functions like merchandising, e-commerce, and human resources. The program is designed to help you build professional skills in communication, negotiation, and team management.
What you'll do#
- Engage with customers by asking questions to identify their specific needs.
- Guide customers through the store to find suitable products and explain the differences between items.
- Manage the sales process by arranging payment and delivery.
- Handle all required paperwork accurately.
- Follow up with customers through phone calls or thank you notes.
- Use established sales techniques while adhering to company procedures.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction in every interaction.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program, specifically in Business Administration or Marketing.
- Comfort using computers and a willingness to train on new software.
- Availability to work standard retail hours, including nights and weekends.

- Location: Crystal Lake, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: This is a paid, commission-based role with an additional hourly training bonus during the first four pay periods.
