About the role#
As a Digital Design Intern, you will work with the Director of Design to create assets for web, social media, and email platforms. You will gain experience producing marketing materials, social media content, and point-of-sale assets. This is a full-time, paid internship requiring at least 25 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Create animated videos and GIFs for social media.
- Design email blasts to support online sales.
- Retouch and edit raw images.
- Update website content to keep product information and images current.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to maintain brand consistency.
- Manage multiple design projects while meeting deadlines and following brand guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects and creating 3D renderings or animations.
- A strong understanding of color theory, composition, and typography.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and follow creative direction.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Previous internship or freelance design experience is a plus, as is military experience.
Location & details#
- This role is based at our headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- Work is on-site four days per week.
- The position is expected to last for four months, with the possibility of an extension.
- Compensation is $15 to $17 per hour.
