About the role#
This internship provides exposure to investment strategies across private debt and equity asset classes. You will join the Private Debt and Private Equity teams to monitor current investments, assist in the selection of new managers, and participate in team projects. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Spread financial statements and review recent operating results.
- Analyze the performance of existing private debt investments.
- Assist Portfolio Managers and Investment Analysts with due diligence on private equity funds and co-investments.
- Perform fundamental credit analysis on prospective new private debt investments.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Major in Finance or Accounting.
- Relevant coursework in accounting and a basic understanding of financial statement analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Financial modeling experience is a plus.
