About the role#
Starr offers a 10-week summer internship for students interested in the property and casualty insurance industry. You will work on-site within one of our core departments to support business operations. This program includes professional development training designed to improve your communication and networking skills. You will conclude the summer by presenting a final Capstone project.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to core functions such as Claims, Underwriting, Audit, IT, Marketing, or HR.
- Support daily business needs based on your specific departmental assignment.
- Participate in an intensive 10-week training program with fellow interns.
- Develop professional skills including presentation and networking.
- Present a final Capstone project to demonstrate your knowledge and skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Risk Management or Insurance majors are preferred.
- Relevant coursework is preferred but not required.
