About the role#
We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our multi-disciplinary team in Chandler, Arizona, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work in a supportive environment alongside experienced practitioners to gain exposure to the electrical aspects of water infrastructure design. This position is full-time and offers the opportunity to contribute to projects involving pump stations and water and wastewater treatment plants.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with local and virtual project teams and senior staff to produce high-quality work products.
- Perform engineering calculations.
- Prepare detailed design drawings and specifications.
- Prepare planning and technical engineering reports.
- Design electrical infrastructure for pump stations and water and wastewater treatment plants.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within a team.
- Ability to take initiative when needed.
- Good skills in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Revit, or Civil 3D is considered a plus.
