About the role#
As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will work under the guidance of senior staff on various projects. You will support our Buildings team by performing design tasks and field work. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027 based in our Chicago office.
What you'll do#
- Produce CADD drawings.
- Perform field work, including site evaluations, as directed by senior staff.
- Participate in electrical design tasks such as building load calculations, ductwork, and equipment layouts.
- Assist with engineering duties across projects of varying complexity.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by the senior engineering team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- Proficiency in CADD.
- A basic understanding of Revit and AutoCad.
- Ability to work effectively within a project team.
- Willingness to take direction, follow established processes, and accept feedback.
