About the role#
Engine Foundation is seeking a Policy Fellow for the Winter 2027 term. This role supports the organization in its mission to promote policies that encourage the growth of startup ecosystems. You will work on advocacy and grassroots initiatives in Washington, D.C. that address issues like access to capital, high-skilled immigration, data privacy, and intellectual property.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and carry out grassroots startup outreach efforts.
- Write articles and blog posts regarding current policy issues.
- Assist with larger research projects.
- Attend relevant policy and outreach events throughout Washington, D.C.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments.
What you'll need#
- Current status as an undergraduate, graduate, or law student, or recent graduate.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Interest in political science or related fields.
