About the role#
This is an unpaid, full-time internship for students pursuing a career in respiratory care. The role provides hands-on experience in a clinical hospital setting.
What you'll do#
- Perform patient evaluations.
- Assist with teaching.
- Administer aerosol drugs.
- Support airway management.
- Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilators.
- Conduct blood gas analysis.
- Assist with bedside bronchoscopy.
- Perform bedside pulmonary function tests.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Respiratory Care program.
- Completion of at least one semester of clinical rotations.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
