About the role#
Springhill Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Student to support clinical operations. This is an on-site, full-time, unpaid internship position with rolling availability.
What you'll do#
- Perform patient evaluations and blood gas analysis.
- Assist with airway management and invasive and non-invasive ventilator management.
- Administer aerosol drugs.
- Support bedside bronchoscopy and pulmonary function testing.
- Provide patient education.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Respiratory Care program.
- Completion of at least one semester of clinical rotations.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
