About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work with the Commercial Services and Enterprise Platform team to gain experience in the telecommunications industry. The program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027. You will spend 80% of your time on department projects and 20% on professional development, networking, and community service activities.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines for reliable software delivery.
- Bridge the gap between software development and IT operations to improve delivery processes.
- Collaborate with teams to streamline workflows and manage infrastructure as code.
- Enhance system performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Manage cloud environments to ensure scalability and security.
- Drive continuous integration and delivery practices to speed up development cycles.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Technology.
- Status as a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
- Ability to travel locally for intern development events and program activities.
- Familiarity with scripting, coding, CI/CD, Linux, Kubernetes, databases, AWS, Google Cloud, GitLab, Splunk, Artifactory, or DataDog is preferred.
