About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Summer 2027 internship based in Folsom, New Jersey. You will join the Collaboration and Productivity Services team to gain hands-on experience in application administration, configuration, and development. This role is part of the Ignite Summer Internship Program, which includes networking events, mentorship, and educational seminars. The position follows a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Manage tickets in the ServiceNow and Microsoft 365 queue to ensure operational work is completed.
- Meet with business partners to gather enhancement requests and translate them into technical blueprints.
- Develop custom solutions, workflows, and forms to automate and improve existing business processes.
- Expand the Service Catalog with new notifications, workflows, and forms.
- Research and present one improvement for ServiceNow or Microsoft 365.
- Document team procedures within the operational knowledge base.
- Participate in the Ignite Summer Internship Program activities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong critical thinking skills and technical acumen to interpret and solve problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Attention to detail for documentation and testing tasks.
- Preferred experience includes ServiceNow or Microsoft 365, XML, JavaScript, Boolean logic, and an understanding of ITIL v4 and ITSM.
