About the role#
South Jersey Industries is offering a full-time Data Analytics Internship for Summer 2027. This 11-week program provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to build a professional network. You will work in a hybrid environment based in Folsom, New Jersey.
What you'll do#
- Build dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Analyze data to find trends, patterns, and insights.
- Help automate data workflows and improve existing processes.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses for your team.
- Assist in creating predictive models using statistical or machine learning techniques.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather and process data from various sources.
- Document your data sources, analysis methods, and results.
- Present your findings to stakeholders and suggest actionable steps.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- You are detail-oriented and motivated to work with data.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, and Power BI.
- Experience with databases such as Snowflake, Oracle, or SQLServer.
- Knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica.
