About the role#
Saalt is looking for a Product Development Intern for the Fall 2026 semester. This role supports the product development team by managing the sample library and assisting with the lifecycle of consumer products. You will work on-site in Boise, Idaho, for 15 to 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Organize and maintain the product development sample and materials library.
- Receive, label, photograph, file, and track incoming product and packaging samples.
- Catalog lab dips, shade bands, color standards, fabrics, trims, and materials.
- Prepare samples and materials for team reviews and meetings.
- Conduct market, material, packaging, and competitive research.
- Update trackers, timelines, and project documentation.
- Support product testing, wearer trials, and focus groups.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Product Management, or a related field.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented approach to managing multiple projects.
- Curiosity about market trends and customer behavior.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Interest in learning about pricing, forecasting, and product performance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Enthusiasm for Saalt’s mission.

- Compensation: $17 per hour.
