About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within a corporate IT environment. You will work directly with the infrastructure and tools that employees use daily. You will manage your own project while contributing to the daily operations of the IT team. This role is based in Boston and runs for 6 to 9 months starting in October 2026.
What you'll do#
- Redesign, optimize, and automate the internal IT Service Desk portal using Jira Cloud.
- Assist employees with technical requests and troubleshoot issues.
- Contribute to daily IT operations, including system administration and asset management.
- Support ongoing IT, security, and network initiatives.
- Gain exposure to cloud environments, device management, and access control.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (completed or near completion).
- A solid understanding of IT fundamentals.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Apple environments.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash/Shell, or Python.
- Ability to communicate clearly and help others solve technical problems.
- Curiosity and a proactive approach to learning new systems.
- Proficiency in English.
