About the role#
The Student Imaging Tech supports Diagnostic Radiology services under the supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist. You will help perform imaging exams, prepare patients, and assist with procedures while maintaining high technical standards. This role may also include Tech Aide responsibilities within the CT Department.
What you'll do#
- Review patient medical information and reconcile exam orders with physician requests.
- Perform diagnostic radiographic exams under supervision.
- Evaluate image quality, ensure proper documentation, and present studies to Radiologists.
- Assist Radiologists with invasive fluoroscopic procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student in an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- A detail-oriented and safety-focused approach to producing high-quality diagnostic images.
- Ability to work in a clinical environment.
- Adaptability and a willingness to follow direction from registered technologists and Radiologists.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and clinical teams in a compassionate, patient-centered manner.
