About the role#
This is a per diem position for a Student Radiology Technologist at Elliot Hospital. You will work under the direction of staff radiologic technologists to support our imaging department. This role offers an opportunity to gain clinical experience while completing your training.
What you'll do#
- Perform radiography procedures following ASRT Radiography Practice Standards and the ASRT Code of Ethics.
- Assist licensed practitioners during interventional procedures.
- Work under the guidance of staff radiologic technologists.
- Complete all required annual mandatory education on time.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a formal Radiological Technologist training program at an AMA approved school.
- Ability to obtain a temporary Medical Imaging license once you graduate.
- Ability to earn and maintain a BLS qualification during your orientation period.
