About the role#
This is a full-time, paid HR Co-op position based in Ontario. You will work in a hybrid capacity from the fall through the spring. This role provides practical exposure to HR operations, recruitment, and employee engagement while you receive mentorship from experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Post job openings on job boards and social media.
- Screen resumes and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process for employees.
- Prepare HR documents, letters, and reports.
- Coordinate training schedules and maintain accurate records.
- Support internal communications, employee recognition programs, and engagement events.
- Participate in HR improvement projects and research industry practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- A genuine interest in building a career in Human Resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience with HRIS or SAP SuccessFactors is an asset.
