About the role#
This is a 12-month Supply Chain Co-op position based in Calgary. You will gain exposure to large-scale supply chain operations while working alongside experienced professionals. This role involves both office and warehouse environments, focusing on the construction and maintenance of Engineered Labour Standards across national warehouses.
What you'll do#
- Gather project requirements and assist in creating project objectives and schedules.
- Collect, analyze, and simulate data to validate warehouse processes and current labour standards.
- Use tools like Tableau, Excel, and process mapping to solve problems.
- Identify opportunities for productivity improvements and staff retraining.
- Support external engineering audits and validations regarding Engineered Labour Standards.
- Provide training support for Regional Supply Chain staff on preferred methods.
What you'll need#
- Third-year student status in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related program.
- Proficiency in data analysis and building spreadsheets.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly to different teams.
- Willingness to work a shift schedule when business needs require it.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
