About the role#
The Pharmacy Intern supports the pharmacy team in delivering patient care and customer service. Working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will assist with daily pharmacy operations and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with prescription preparation, including data entry and assembly.
- Manage medication inventory, including drug order creation, receiving, and replenishing supplies.
- Engage in patient interactions, answer phones, and process customer transactions.
- Promote all Profile Programs.
- Perform compounding and pill pack assembly.
- Maintain pharmacy standards through filing and cleaning.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Pharmacy program at a recognized, accredited institution.
- Registration with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba as a student or intern.
- Injection certification at the time of interview or hire.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Above average oral and written communication skills.
- Previous pharmacy experience is considered an asset.
