Pharmacy Intern - PT

About the role#

The Pharmacy Intern supports the pharmacy team in delivering patient care and customer service. Working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will assist with daily pharmacy operations and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

What you'll do#

• Assist with prescription preparation, including data entry and assembly.
• Manage medication inventory, including drug order creation, receiving, and replenishing supplies.
• Engage in patient interactions, answer phones, and process customer transactions.
• Promote all Profile Programs.
• Perform compounding and pill pack assembly.
• Maintain pharmacy standards through filing and cleaning.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Pharmacy program at a recognized, accredited institution.
• Registration with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba as a student or intern.
• Injection certification at the time of interview or hire.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
• Above average oral and written communication skills.
• Previous pharmacy experience is considered an asset.
