About the role#
The Finance Co-op role provides hands-on experience in financial operations within a large retail organization. You will work both independently and with team members to support budgeting, reporting, and forecasting activities. This position offers exposure to how financial metrics support category management and broader business decisions.
What you'll do#
- Build and update financial models in Excel to support budgeting and forecasting decisions.
- Extract and organize financial data from SAP, ensuring accuracy and readiness for analysis.
- Track forecasting accuracy and identify insights to improve future financial plans.
- Use Excel and emerging AI tools to generate insights and suggest ways to strengthen forecasting processes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting by delivering clear, actionable outputs based on financial analysis.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Excel with an interest in building financial models.
- Experience working with data and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate insights.
- Interest in forecasting, financial planning, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to clearly present findings and collaborate with team members.
