About the role#
We are seeking engineering interns to perform hands-on work that contributes to the performance, comfort, and refinement of our vehicles. You will support the development, testing, and optimization of vehicle functionality across multiple systems. This role combines analytical work, instrumentation, on-vehicle testing, and collaboration with cross-functional groups like Chassis, Electrical, and Powertrain.
What you'll do#
- Install and configure vehicle controller area network (CAN) instrumentation systems on prototype vehicles.
- Develop analytics dashboards for management review of data, including fleet performance, usage metrics, and requirements validation status.
- Work with cross-functional engineers to identify signals and triggers for vehicle data analysis.
- Assist engineers and managers in using data reporting tools and dashboards.
- Support vehicle level testing and validation of functional objectives.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Graduation date between August 2026 and May 2029.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort working in both laboratory and vehicle or plant environments.
- Interest in vehicle communication networks, telematics, and data analysis tools.
- Experience with or interest in learning tools such as Python and Grafana is a plus.
