About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineer I, you will support engineering and production by focusing on the core principles of manufacturability and assembly. You will assist in reviewing product designs and developing the necessary tooling and processes to ensure new products launch efficiently and existing products maintain high quality and consistency.
What you'll do#
- Support the creation of detailed work instructions and process documentation.
- Assist in the design and implementation of manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Collaborate with design engineers to review product designs for Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Aid in the development and implementation of production tooling and fixtures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues.
What you'll need#
- Must have been an SNC Summer 2026 Intern.
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline.
- 0-2+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
- Basic proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) software and process documentation.
- Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required).

- This position requires the ability to work on a computer for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs occasionally, and travel occasionally.
