About the role#
As a Design Intern, you will work with the Sid Mashburn and Ann Mashburn design teams to support the product development lifecycle. You will help coordinate and organize samples, update tech packs within our PLM system, and assist with the daily needs of the design department. This is a part-time, on-site, paid position in Atlanta.
What you'll do#
- Prepare samples by measuring, inspecting, and pressing them.
- Help prepare for presentations, including pulling and steaming samples and assembling boards.
- Organize the sample library by style category.
- Update tech packs, specs, and trims in the PLM system.
- Organize files and assist with product quality issue remediation.
What you'll need#
- Ability to measure garments in both imperial and metric units.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Strong attention to detail and clear written and oral communication skills in English.
- A resourceful, humble, and motivated approach to problem-solving.
- A team-player attitude with a willingness to take on any task.
- Ability to work under pressure with a high sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines.
- A flexible, positive, and creative mindset.
