About the role#
This 12-month paid internship program offers a rotational experience across Campaign and Transformational Giving, Major Gifts, and Leadership Giving. The role is designed to provide hands-on experience in fundraising, donor stewardship, and relationship management within a leading healthcare charity. This is a full-time position beginning in September 2026.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and execution of fundraising strategies and donor engagement initiatives.
- Conduct donor and prospect research, including prospect identification and pipeline development.
- Maintain and update donor records and engagement activity within the Foundationโs CRM database.
- Assist with donor meeting coordination, stewardship activities, and impact reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Corporate and Community Partnerships.
- Participate in mentorship and coaching opportunities with leaders across the Development department.
What you'll need#
- Recently completed post-secondary education in a related field such as Business Administration, Public Health, Psychology, Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Sociology, or Political Science.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative team environment.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: 12-month contract starting September 2026.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with expectations to work from the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
