About the role#
As an HR Intern at Shorr Packaging Corp., you will gain hands-on experience across key areas of Human Resources. This includes Learning and Development, Onboarding, Benefits Administration, and HR Operations. You will contribute to HR initiatives while developing professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist in manager virtual training sessions and eLearning enrollments.
- Send, collect, and summarize training feedback surveys.
- Track and report completion data in the LMS for course rollouts.
- Update job aids to support employee learning and performance.
- Prepare onboarding materials and welcome kits.
- Support new hire orientation sessions and conduct check-ins.
- Ensure completion of onboarding documentation and compliance requirements.
- Assist with benefits enrollment and employee inquiries.
- Help maintain accurate benefits records and employee files.
- Support wellness initiatives, communications, and HR databases.
- Assist with reporting, data analysis, process improvement projects, and HR audits.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior status pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related program.
- Proficiency with Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well as a team player.
