About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship within the Human Resources team at our corporate headquarters. You will gain exposure to our business operations while working alongside industry experts. The program provides opportunities to build professional networks with business leaders and engage in activities with other interns and Emerging Leader associates.
What you'll do#
- Participate in hands-on projects with industry experts.
- Gain business knowledge across the Sonoco enterprise.
- Network with company leadership.
- Join activities with other interns and Emerging Leader associates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or master degree program with a concentration in Human Resources, Industrial Organization, or a similar field.
- Previous internship experience.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Technical aptitude.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Location: Hartsville, South Carolina.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Employment type: Full time.
- Support: Housing and activity stipend provided, along with relocation assistance including mileage reimbursement and U-Haul trailer.
