About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students in a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment designed to support your academic training and prepare you for a career as a pharmacist. You will work directly with a local Associate-Owner while benefiting from the resources of a national brand.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and follow all privacy requirements regarding consent management.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Provide a high-quality experience for pharmacy customers.
- Engage in community pharmacy practice to build your professional skills.
- Gain knowledge in OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Develop the skills required to manage a retail pharmacy operation.
