About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student at Sobeys, you will gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations while completing your training to become a licensed Pharmacist. This role focuses on customer service, pharmacy administration, and professional services within a retail environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform professional pharmacy tasks consistent with your level of education.
- Handle prescription assembly, data entry, and filing.
- Process customer transactions and manage prescription intake and release.
- Support daily operations through compounding, pill pack assembly, and cleaning.
- Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and replenishing supplies.
- Promote pharmacy profile programs and answer incoming calls.
- Adhere to all company standards and operational procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Pharmacy program at a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage strict deadlines.
