About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students in a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment designed to support your academic growth while preparing you for a career as a pharmacist. You will report to a local Associate-Owner while benefiting from the resources of a national brand.
What you'll do#
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management.
- Maintain clear visibility to the public.
- Improve communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Build knowledge regarding OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Learn the skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.
